Welcome
to the 2010 season of the Canadian Music
Competition. This year's National Final
takes place in Edmonton, Alberta.
Registration
takes place completely on the National
website: http://cmcnational.com/en/cmc2010/formulaire.
Please read through Rules and guidelines
on the National website before registering.
This
year's registration deadline is Sunday,
November 22nd, 2009. Deadline for
Stepping Stone 2110 registration is Monday,
January 11th, 2010. Deadline for cancellation
of registration or repertoire changes
is Monday, January 25, 2010.
There
is a $30.00 Administration fee for repertoire
changes. Cancelled registrations will
be refunded, minus a $50.00 Administration
fee.

Bursaries Available |

CMC
BC is pleased to announce the availability
of a limited number of bursaries for competitors
in financial need.
Application
Process
-
All bursary applicants must first complete
the competition registration at www.cmcnational.com
- Please
read the open letter, available here
which describes the aim of the bursary
program.
- Then
please download the bursary program
application form, available here.
- Complete
it electronically and save it to your
computer, or print it out and complete
it by hand.
- Attach
it to info@cmcbc.com
with the subject "Bursary Application",
or mail it to our address by November
22nd, 2009. Please note that we
will request supporting documents from
recipients.
Recipients
will be notified by December 15th, 2009.
All applications are reviewed by the Board
in full confidence. All decisions are final.

CD
Release "Celebrating the Best in
BC, Best in Canada"

The CMC BC Board is pleased to announce the
release of our promotional CD, "Celebrating
the Best in BC, Best in Canada".
The CD was recorded at our fall Showcase
Concert at Christ Church Cathedral, which
featured Team
BC members
who placed in the top 3 in Canada.

The Canadian Music Competitions - BC Society
(CMC-BC) promotes and supports the Canadian Music
Competitions.
The CMC-BC Executive plays a vital role to
ensure that our young BC musicians and their teachers
can continue to participate in the annual competitions.
Our most visible function is organizing the CMC's
local and provincial competitions.
CMC BC Board Meetings take place in the evening of
the 3rd Sunday every month. All members are welcome
to attend. Please e-mail us and we will confirm
the time and location.
